Have you ever wanted to try one of the UK’s best burgers? Now’s your chance, Oxford! The cult-favourite, award-winning burger legends The Beefy Boys are bringing their world-class burgers to Oxford, and they’re on the hunt for locals to be the first through the doors.
The Beefy Boys are set to open their fifth UK restaurant at Westgate Oxford this October, following huge success in Hereford, Shrewsbury Cheltenham, and Bath. They will bring with them their famous dirty American-style burgers, featuring 100% grass-fed dry-aged Herefordshire beef from their home county.
To celebrate, they’re inviting Oxfordshire foodies to join their exclusive soft launch from Monday 8th September to Friday 3rd October.
Those lucky enough to bag a table will get an exclusive chance to experience The Beefy Boys’ award-winning menu before anybody else with a 20% discount on food in exchange for honest feedback on their food, service, and their overall experience. The soft launch and burger testers discount will be available for pre-bookings only.
The proposed soft launch period will allow diners to get a sneak peek of the new restaurant at Westgate Oxford and sample some of The Beefy Boys’ signature dishes, all while helping the new Oxford restaurant team to fine-tune their food, drink, and service ahead of the official launch on Saturday 4th October.

The new restaurant is located on the roof terrace at Westgate Oxford, and will serve The Beefy Boys’ signature burgers, including the iconic Oklahoma Onion Boy Cali Style burger, which won Best Burger at the 2023 National Burger Awards, alongside delicious side dishes such as Loaded Pastrami Fries, saucy Chicken Wings, crispy Chicken Strips, and delicious veggie options such as the Beanie Boy and Leafy Boy burgers.
It’s been a huge year for The Beefy Boys. As well as placing 4th in the World Food Championships in Indianapolis in November 2024, they also released their first-ever cookbook, The Beefy Boys: From Backyard BBQ’s to World-Class Burgers, which became a Sunday Times Bestseller.
Spaces for The Beefy Boys’ Oxford soft launch are by pre-booking only, and places will be snapped up fast. Anyone who fancies themselves as one of Oxford’s first Beefy Boys burger testers should pre-book their table online for dates between Monday 8th September and Friday 3rd October.
