Savour the county’s flavour this October with Taste Worcestershire

Worcestershire is set to showcase what the county’s food and drink scene has to offer this October during Taste Worcestershire, an unmissable all new event running 7th-27th October across the whole of the county. The celebrational event has been expertly designed to bring quality food producers together with a range of special set menus, offers and unique foodie experiences available throughout Worcestershire.

After the successful pilot of Taste Worcester and Taste Bromsgrove, Taste Worcestershire is encouraging visitors and residents alike to take advantage of unmissable offers at a hand-picked selection of the region’s best restaurants, cafes and bars, and learn stories of the county’s rich agricultural heritage from field to folk.

Taste Worcestershire, organised by Visit Worcestershire unites the very best of the county’s food and drink scene, all accessible through one voucher available to download, free of charge from the Visit Worcestershire website.

Taste Worcestershire’s local hero’s include Asian inspired restaurant, Maneki Ramen, well-known local food producer, Droitwich Salt, award winning wine maker, Astley Vineyard, and acclaimed herb grower William Boers from Westlands, all working together to create a new Worcestershire dish utilising local produce, to help celebrate the wonderful bounty of local food that the county has to offer.

Lorna Robinson, Visitor Economy and Destination Manager, Visit Worcestershire, said:

“Worcestershire has such an array of wonderful pubs, restaurants and eateries which really showcase the foodie scene here in the county. With a wide choice of cuisines and flavours, Taste Worcestershire is the perfect incentive to experience and enjoy it all.”

“The county was recently named one of the Best Places to Go in the UK & Ireland in 2024 by Condé Nast and the food scene plays a big part in that. Following the success of recent offerings taking place in both Worcester and Bromsgrove in the past year, we are really excited to be able to offer this initiative county wide. We’re working with a range of local restaurants to bring visitors near and afar a huge variety of local offers to sink their teeth into.”

More restaurants, cafes and bars are being confirmed daily, so everyone is encouraged to keep an eye on the Visit Worcestershire website, download the voucher and embark on a culinary adventure through Worcestershire’s hidden gems and culinary greats for a fraction of the cost!
