Move over Coca-Cola and John Lewis! The Beefy boys have recreated classic movie chaos in their self-made festive advert.

The Beefy Boys, cult burger icons and serial mischief-makers, have dropped their 2025 Christmas advert, a laugh out loud, micro-budget, Home Alone parody, and it’s already tipped to become their most viral Christmas video to date.
Created on a shoestring budget, this year’s festive spectacular was written and directed by The Beefy Boys themselves, filmed inside their Hereford restaurant, and produced in partnership with a host of local businesses.
The film follows a young boy who is accidentally locked inside The Beefy Boys’ restaurant overnight in a case of mistaken identity. Naturally, like any unsupervised child with free rein in a professional kitchen, he begins to whip up an outrageously delicious Beefy Boys feast. But just as he’s plating up his masterpiece, he spots two mysterious shadowy figures breaking into the restaurant: The Beef Burglars!
Channelling his inner Kevin McCallister, the boy springs into action, setting up an increasingly ridiculous set of bonkers booby traps, including flying burger ingredients, rogue kitchen utensils, sizzling grills, slippery floors, and some playful nods to iconic Home Alone moments.
Just when the boy’s luck is about to run out, his parents arrive to his rescue , and a brilliantly silly twist reveals the true identity of the so-called burglars. It’s a classic plot twist from The Beefy Boys, who have become known for their hilarious viral Christmas adverts that poke fun at the high-budget productions from large retailers.
The ad is soundtracked by a standout cover of Run Rudolph run by Jake of Diamonds, The Voice finalist and longstanding Beefy Boys collaborator. The project was proudly created with support from Shooting Reels (filming and lighting), Two Faced Dance Company (stunt choreography), Old Market Shopping Centre (location support), and a cast of local people including the Beefy Boys’ staff, friends, and family.
The early social media reaction has been off the scale: “This is seriously top tier!”, ”Best Christmas ad I’ve seen all year”, “Your Christmas adverts are up there with Aldi’s Christmas posts, live for them every year!”
This is the third instalment of The Beefy Boys’annual Christmas advert series.
Released on Wednesday 3rd December, the 2025 ad has already racked up more than 100,000 views, and The Beefy Boys hope that the public will rally behind the video to propel the tiny-budget masterpiece to viral glory.
“We love creating Christmas ads that make people laugh, and every year we try to outdo ourselves. But this has to be our favourite yet. We had so much fun recreating the classic Home Alone stunts,” said Murf, co-founder of The Beefy Boys. “Just like our food, our videos are made right here in Herefordshire, and we’re incredibly proud of that.”
The Beefy Boys aren’t just bringing festive cheer through their advertising this Christmas, as they are also serving up The Christmas Boy in their restaurants. Possibly one of their most indulgent burgers ever, it features a beef patty, turkey thigh confit, a stuffing patty, a bubble and squeak patty, a ‘moist maker’ (a slice of white bread soaked in gravy), which was popularised on the TV series Friends, along with a pig in a blanket perched on the top for good measure.
The 2025 Beefy Boys Christmas advert is already gaining traction online, and fans are encouraged to like, share, and comment to help spread the festive fun and cravings far and wide.
