Gloucestershire audiences will be able to spend a rare evening with legendary Poirot actor David Suchet, as he opens his new tour at the Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham, from 18th – 20th January 2024.
‘POIROT AND MORE, A RETROSPECTIVE’ will offer audiences an intimate glimpse into Sir David’s illustrious career, spanning five decades, and promises to be an unforgettable experience as he shares his favourite memories in a unique and personal light. Accompanying him as interviewer on this extraordinary journey will be Geoffrey Wansell, the distinguished journalist, broadcaster, biographer and co-author of ‘Poirot and Me’.
Throughout the evening, audiences will have the chance to learn more about one of the world’s most celebrated actors and delve into his impressive body of work. From his iconic portrayal of Agatha Christie’s elegant Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot, which captivated audiences worldwide for over 25 years, to his Emmy award-winning performances in roles such as Lady Bracknell, Cardinal Benelli, and Sigmund Freud, David Suchet has certainly made his mark on stage and screen.
