From thrilling live entertainment to thousands of animals: top five reasons not to miss the Royal Three Counties Show this June!

The award-winning Royal Three Counties Show,the UK’s leading agricultural and countryside living event, and one of the longest running events of its kind, returns to Three Counties Showground in Malvern from 12th – 14th June 2026. Over 90,000 visitors are expected at the 90-acre showground across three days to enjoy a packed programme bursting with outstanding entertainment, local food and drink, family fun and lots of animals! With so much going on across the long weekend, here are five unmissable highlights awaiting visitors at this year’s Royal Three Counties Show:

1. Over 8,000 of the best farm animals and horses in the UK
Recognised nationally as one of the largest livestock and equine shows in the UK, this year’s Royal Three Counties Show has a record number of livestock entries, so there will be no shortage of animal encounters for visitors to enjoy. A highlight of the show is the daily Grand Parade of Livestock, in which hundreds of prize-winning animals are led around the main arena while commentators – including BBC Countryfile presenter and Cotswold Farm Park co-owner, Adam Henson – provide interesting information about each breed. Brand-new behind the scenes livestock tours (available to book online in advance) will give visitors aged 8 and over the chance to step into areas not normally open to the public during judging times and get up close to some prize-winning animals, whilst discovering more about the hard work, dedication and passion that goes in to preparing animals to show.

Worcestershire’s award-winning Attwell Farm Park will be return this year with their furry friends and creepy crawlies, providing exciting animal encounters and hands-on learning for visitors of all ages.

The Royal Three Counties Show is also renowned for its leading equine events, held across six dedicated equine rings and the spacious main arena. Over 300 equine showing and show jumping classes will be held at the show, with record entries this year. The impressive carriage driving and heavy horse classes are a particular highlight. Each year, the Royal Three Counties Show hosts prestigious Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) qualifying classes, giving visitors the chance to watch some of the best horses and ponies in the country compete to gain a spot in one of the UK’s most significant national championships. This year the show will host 62 HOYS qualifiers(the most to date), including the new VHS Veteran Ridden and Shire Horse In Hand categories.
2. Special guests and leading experts from the worlds of food and farming
Star of Prime Video’s Clarkson’s Farm and best-selling author, Kaleb Cooper, returns to Royal Three Counties Show on Sunday 14th June sharing insights into his passion for farming and anecdotes from his years spent in agriculture since the age of 13. Kaleb will also be doing a book signing of his new children’s book, Kaleb’s Farmyard Tales, and his best-selling book from 2022, The World According to Kaleb.

Emmerdale actor and Strictly Come Dancing winner (2019), Kelvin Fletcher, and wife Liz also join this year’s special guest line up on Saturday 13th June. Kelvin and Liz will be sharing insights from their journey into farming at the Future of Farming stage, as well as joining in commentating for the Machinery Demo in the main arena.

Fourteen-year-old equestrian influencer, social media creator and young rider, Harlow Luna White, will demonstrate her jumping skills in the Cotswold Arena at Royal Three Counties Show on Saturday 13th June, as well as a meet and greet with visitors.

BBC Countryfile presenter and co-owner of Cotswold Farm Park, Adam Henson, will be welcomed back to the show on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th June to lead thought-provoking talks and join panel discussions in the Future of Farming Theatre, providing expert commentary for the Machinery Demos and the Grand Parade of Livestock, as well as sharing his rare breeds knowledge in the livestock section.

Award-winning farmer, former president of the National Farmers Union of England and Wales (2018 – 2024) and member of the House of Lords, Minnette Batters, will share her story of heritage, home and hope with visitors on the Future of Farming stage on Friday 12th June, as well as participating in a Q&A session and book signing.

Also joining the line up for this year’s show is Will Young, best known as Farmer Will and for his appearance on ITV2’s Love Island, joined by fiancé Jessie Wynter. Will has captured the hearts of millions as a viral TikTok sensation, sharing the charm, humour and realities of life on his Buckinghamshire farm.

New for 2026, GRASSMEN – known for their captivating video content and agricultural merchandise – will bring their team and kit to Machinery Mile, providing the opportunity to ask questions and purchase merchandise.
3. Sensational food & drink
In addition to being surrounded by over 8,000 animals and leading voices from the agricultural and farming sectors, visitors to Royal Three Counties Show this June will be treated to some of the very best food and drink from across the UK.

The Food & Drink Theatre will be hosted by Anthony ‘Murf’ Murphy, co-founder of the award-winning independent restaurant group, The Beefy Boys. Over the weekend, Murf will be joined on stage by special guests, including Kaleb Cooper, Adam Henson, Herefordshire-based farmer Ally Hunter Blair, Kelvin and Liz Fletcher, as well as ITV’s This Morning regular chef, Marcus Bean.

Some of the region’s most talented chefs will put their skills into action with live fire cooking demos, including PIT Kitchen, Wild Food UK, Spudman, A Rule of Tum, and Bar Limon. On Saturday 13th June, Murf will host a live fire and BBQ competition, and on Sunday 14th, his sell-out Burger-making Masterclass from 2025 will return, offering a selection of visitors the chance to learn from the expert and create their own tasty burgers. Across Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th, Kitchen Garden Pizza will host interactive family pizza making workshops, inviting visitors of all ages to learn the secrets of crafting the perfect pizza from scratch.

The English Wine Show is back again this year, featuring a selection of the best English wine producers from across the surrounding three counties, offering informal guided tastings, as well as the opportunity to purchase bottles to enjoy at home, or a glass or two at the show while relaxing in the English Wine Garden.
4. Thrilling live entertainment
There will be no shortage of thrilling live entertainment at this year’s Royal Three Counties Show. Across the long weekend, Atkinson Action Horses will stun visitors with high energy, jaw-dropping displays of specially trained horses. The Atkinson family from Yorkshire have liberty trained their highly skilled horses to perform at shows and in films and television programmes for over 25 years, with credits including Disney’s Rivals, Netflix’s Seven Dials and BBC’s Poldark and Peaky Blinders series. There will also be live demos in a smaller ring, giving visitors the exclusive opportunity to find out more about how these remarkable horses are trained, handled and cared for.

On Friday 12th and Sunday 14th (weather permitting), The Red Devils will return to the sky with their spectacular aerial parachute display, free falling at speeds of up to 120mph in jaw-dropping canopy formations before landing expertly into the Main Arena.

The high-octane STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Arenawill also return to the show this year, featuring electrifying displays from some of the very best Timbersports athletes, competing in the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® British Championship, British Rookie Championship, British Women’s Championship and the Pro Championship Qualifier. Alongside the STIHL Arena, visitors can explore the ‘have a go’ area and browse the on-site tool shop.

On Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th, a selection of the top Pony Club teams from across the UK (all aged under 15 years) will participate in exciting, fast-paced relay races involving props and obstacles, in the Prince Philip Cup Pony Club Mounted Games. Based on historic cavalry techniques, these thrilling games test each rider’s teamwork and individual skills.

There will also be vintage tractor parades, dog & pony comedy shows, sheepdog herding demos, falconry displays, heavy horse competitions and scurry driving displays.

On the evenings of Friday 12th and Saturday 13th (weather permitting), hot air balloons will launch from the showground and float majestically into the air, set against the stunning backdrop of the glorious Malvern Hills.
5. Have a go at exciting activities
This year’s Royal Three Counties Show will be packed with exciting have-a-go activities for visitors for all ages to try. A new feature at this year’s show is the Hobby Horse Arena (located in Adventure Avenue), where visitors can cheer on participants in the Hobby Horse Competition, or get involved in the ‘have-a-go’ ring for a chance to win a rosette.
The Tewkesbury Junior Anglers will offer have-a-go coarse fishing sessions each day at the lake. Worcester Cricket and Cheltenham Lacrosse will host energetic try‑out sessions, giving children the chance to discover a new sport or pick up expert tips to help improve their skills.
Youngsters can also try their hand at archery under the expert guidance of the British Army, offering them a unique opportunity to test their aim and learn something new. Visitors can step inside Midlands Air Ambulance’s impressive helipod to find out about the lifesaving work the charity does, or learn fascinating insights into submarines and life in the Royal Navy.
Additionally, there are over 101 free activities for families to enjoy during their time at the Royal Three Counties Show, and with tickets for children under 16 free of charge, it makes a great family day out for all ages.
