Families looking to treat dad this Father’s Day can enjoy a full weekend of fun and fresh country air at the Royal Three Counties Show, taking place from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 June 2022.
Celebrating the very best of the three counties of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire the annual event provides the perfect opportunity to make memories on Dad’s special day, with food, farming, shows and special guests galore.
Beefy Boys burgers, cider and sausages, pies and plenty more local artisan produce will all feature at the Food and Drink Festival. Alongside the chance to try something new, learn to cook the perfect steak, see chef demos and sip samples in brewery and gin masterclasses, in the cookery theatre.
Fans of Clarkson’s Farm can meet Kaleb Cooper – farming’s newest star and agricultural comedian, as well as farmer and rural TV presenter Adam Henson, who returns as the Show Ambassador.
The Red Devils, Bolddog Lings Motorcycle Stunt Team, tractors, hounds, heavy horses and more promise to wow visitors of all ages in the Main Arena.
Little ones will be both entertained and educated by more than 6,000 furry and feathered friends, including bees, rabbits, alpacas, pigs, cows, sheep, horses and birds of prey. Get dressed up, have a laugh and challenge Dad to a race in the Young Farmers Area, or head to Adventure Avenue to test your survival skills and learn more from the Police and British Army.
Watch the TIMBERSPORTS® British Championships in the STIHL Arena which also has demonstrations of axe, hot saws and chainsaws high octane action each day.
Whether you’re a fan of farming history or into new technologies, expect to discover everything from forestry, sheep shearing, blacksmithing and vintage machinery to hot saws, quad bikes and robotics throughout the three-day show.
And if a weekend of family fun isn’t enough, you can treat Dad to a new coat, pair of boots, some new tools or plants for the garden, from one of the many local makers and producers across the shopping and gardening arenas.
