Award-winning burger legends The Beefy Boys are on the hunt for Nottingham-based ‘burger testers’ ahead of the launch of their brand new restaurant this June. Those who secure a table will be rewarded with 25% off their food bill.
The cult-favourite burger brand will open its sixth UK restaurant on Queen Street this June, and before the doors officially open, they’re inviting Nottinghamshire locals to get a first taste.
The Beefy Boys will run an exclusive soft launch period from Monday 25th May – Wednesday 10th June, giving early bookers the chance to try the menu before anyone else at a discounted rate, in exchange for honest feedback on the food, service and overall experience.
Spaces are strictly limited and available via pre-booking only.
The new restaurant, located in the former site of George’s Great British Kitchen, will serve The Beefy Boys’ signature bold American-style burgers, made with 100% grass-fed, dry-aged Herefordshire beef.
Menu highlights include The Beefy Boy, The Dirty Boy and the iconic Oklahoma Onion Boy Cali Style burger, which won Best Burger at the 2023 National Burger Awards, Loaded Pastrami Fries, saucy Chicken Wings, crispy Chicken Strips, and delicious veggie favourites such as the Beanie Boy and Leafy Boy burgers.
The Beefy Boys have built a loyal following across Hereford, Shrewsbury, Cheltenham, Bath and Oxford, and now Nottingham is next.
The soft launch will give diners a sneak peek of the new restaurant while helping the new restaurant team to fine-tune their food, drink and service ahead of the official opening.
Co-founder Anthony ‘Murf’ Murphy said,
“We’re absolutely buzzing to be opening in Nottingham. Before we officially launch on Friday 19th June we want to make sure everything is spot on, and the best way to do that is to enlist the help of local people. It’s been a huge few years for The Beefy Boys. From winning the National Burger Awards in 2023 to placing 4th in the World Food Championships in Indianapolis in November 2024, they are also preparing to release their second cookbook. The Beefy Boys’ Great British BBQ will be published by Quadrille on 7th May 2026 (£20), and they will be visiting Waterstones in Nottingham on Thursday 4th June for an exclusive book signing.
