The UK’s leading harvest celebration, Malvern Autumn Show, in association with Westons, is set to welcome over 65,000 visitors through its gates this weekend, for a seasonal extravaganza at Three Counties Showground, Worcestershire.
Boasting a jam-packed weekend of seasonal family fun, the centrepiece each year is the fiercely competitive CANNA UK National Giant Vegetables Championship where seven Guinness World Records were broken today (25/9/26), including longest tromboncino, heaviest beetroot and heaviest sweetcorn kernel, after a tense day of weighing and measuring with 169 growers battling it out for medals, across 33 classes.
With 597 entries there is so much to see at the seasonal spectacular, with ginormous gourds, colossal cucumbers and super-sized sweetcorn and a £1,000 prize up for grabs for the Heaviest Aubergine.
By the end of the day, seven Guinness World Records were awarded, including:

“The whole team at Three Counties Showground are jumping for joy with the sheer number of entries and world records broken at this year’s CANNA UK National Giant Vegetables Championship,”
said Kate Dufton, Show Manager at Malvern Autumn Show.
“Each year we welcome entries from across the country from emerging and existing growers, and this year we have processed 597 entries!”
The 2026 show enjoys many other highlights throughout the three days, including:
- Over 100 Grow to Show classes in the Harvest Pavilion, with entries from cut flowers, vegetables, fruit, alpines, succulents, and more.
- The RHS Flower Show, bulb markets and seeds: many top nurseries in the Floral Marquee sponsored by HSBC UK, offering the very best plants and advice, unusual/rare plants and inspiring floral displays.
- Expert talks & demonstrations: features include Monty Don OBE, Rekha Mistry, Jekka McVicar, Joanna Page, and more.
- The Great Malvern Cake Off tent sponsored by Visit The Malverns with celebrity bakers, including an adorable baking and decorating gingerbread people class for children and the impressive “cake or fake” classes with beautiful cakes designed to trick the eye.
